Health in Motion

Health in Motion refers to a subtle interaction and integration of energy fields within an individual during a Craniosacral Therapy session. The vibrations of these energy fields are influenced by the techniques employed by the practitioner, creating movements of energy that are instrumental in improving a particular condition and creating balance and well-being within an individual.

The principles and techniques are very much in harmony with ancient as well as contemporary concepts of spirit, body, and soul-or mind, matter, and psyche. New findings in quantum cosmology, chaos theory, ecology, biology, medicine, and cultural theory are rediscovering what was common knowledge to most ancient and contemporary native peoples: There is a fundamental unity of mind, matter, and psyche beautifully expressed in our known space-time continuum, where motion, diversity, and connectivity maintain the cycles and mysteries of life.

Health in Motion is as much of an art as it is a science, the result of much study, practice, observation, and innovation. Health in Motion honors the concept that our bodies are not merely machines, but that we are whole, compassionate, and sentient beings capable of attuning ourselves to the earth and cosmos and the interconnectedness of all life. The ultimate goal of the therapy is help restore those lost connections by integrating care and caring, and health and healing, thus making our individual lives and those around us more vibrant, wholesome, and peaceful.

How did Health in Motion originate?
Blanca Noel, an Upledger Craniosacral Therapist, created Health in Motion, a healing technique that blends Craniosacral Therapy, her primary tool, with a variety of other healing modalities. The overall effect accelerates the movement of energy in the body and activates a more holistic healing process. She draws from a wide range of disciplines and healing methods, including Tibetan Healing Bowls, Australian and Bach Flower Essences, and Radiesthesia.
