Centuries
ago, Buddhist monks made these bowls and used them in
their rituals, meditation, and enlightenment practices.
Originally, the bowls were made of metals that represented
the seven classical and astrological planets:

Each bowl has its own distinctive
harmonics and vibrations and resonates with the other
bowls. The bowls are played in triads and a variety
of combinations, creating unique frequencies that facilitate
healing. Mallets are used to strike the bowls to generate
the sound. The mallets are selected on the basis of
blending and resonating with the client's vibratory
energy. When struck, the bowls emanate the sound of
OM, permeating each cell of the client and transporting
him/her to an increased state of well being. The frequencies
from the bowls can also reveal areas of depleted energy
in the body and restore balance.
